Babes Ride Out Borrego 2025 | All the Details!
Riders! We cannot wait to welcome you to Babes Ride Out Borrego! This event is 100% different than the others, and if you are new to this venue, we got you! Let's dive in all the weekend details + reminders. Don't forget, Saturday night is Homecoming and the theme is NEON, come correct babes!!!!
- Location: Palm Canyon Resort and RV, 221 Palm Canyon Drive, Borrego Springs, CA, 92004 US
- Check in time for those camping or in RV spots is 12PM - Check out is Sunday @11AM
- Check in time for on site trailers + hotel rooms is 3PM - Check out is Sunday @11AM
- Please do not arrive before these designated check in times, we do not have space or staff to park you until your check in time and will still be setting up. XOXO
- Only the person who booked the room / site AKA the person whose credit card and name is on the reservation can check in and get the wristbands for their party. If you arrive before your group lead, we will have some on site parking for you to wait for them this year.
- For those of you with "weekend passes" not staying on site. You'll see designated parking for your bikes near the lobby of the hotel.
- Moto Campers: Friendly reminder you do not have your own personal site, rather you'll be placed in the group camping area as you arrive. If you have a friend you want to camp with, arrive together. We do not over sell the camping so you'll have plenty of room with your campmates. No spot holding.
It's a small venue which means the entry gets JAMMED. Make sure to be mindful and not block the entry or exit at any time during the weekend and park on in designated parking spots (not along side walks, along hotel buildings etc.! These are fires lanes <3
Reminder that no outside alcohol is allowed in side the buildings, keep it in your room / campsite. The hotel is super strict here as it's a law and the fine is massive, $2500 to those who break their rule. That's a lot of scruples...
On Site: WE LOVE this venue for many reasons but here are the best ones: They have an on site convivence store with beer, wine, snacks etc.! Their on site bar and restaurant will be open just to us all weekend long (take advantage!). Their bar also serves Mocktails (yay!).
Pool + closes at 10PM each night. Quiet time in hotels + campground is 10PM. No generators**We are not saying go to bed at 10, rather keep voices low, and don't be bummed if security asks you to simmer down. We have a lot of guests and want to ensure everyone has a great time. Reminder, you can have drinks at the pool but no glass <3
Security is on site, you'll know by their uniforms. If you need anything from them, just ask! They are here for you. Every year, locals & randos don't seem to get the memo it's a private event & we have rented out the entire venue. If you see some random folks, please let the hotel know ASAP so they can handle it. We do our best but people.....
Men work at the hotel and resort. You'll see men and women working the entire time while there :)
Riding during the weekend!!!! We love this area because of the vast amount of riding you can do. Recently the AMA which we are a part of has restricted map sharing so please ask me on site, my name is Ashmore and I will be at the merch booth on day 1 and at the riders meeting (if you want to come, SAT 8:30AM). I am more than happy to assist you!
Local:
- The Sculptures! There is a legend in the hotel lobby
- Rams Hill for lunch (sooo good) cruise up to the gate and let them know you are there for lunch and they will let you in
- Carlees (i recommend a hostile take over of their touch tunes)
Further:
- Julian: know for its altitude and cooler weather, Julian is a small town that basically invented apple pie. Great little town with a ton to offer. The grades getting here are technical, so take your time!!!! Gas, restaurants, antiques and more await!
- Salton Sea: What's that smell? Dead fish and sulfur... but what waits on the other side is an apocalyptic style place with the Ski Inn (great place for lunch) to check out. I also recommend the "date" shake.... sooo good!
- Ocotillo: Vast desert and beautiful views. Check out the Iron Door. Anya's bar is stapled to the roof with many others. Not good for food though... probably worst food in the world.
Heads up! Our normal chainstitcher had to cancel as well as our helmet painter (she broke her arm badly) last minute. Our apologies to anyone who was looking forward to that but sadly these last min issues were out of their control and ours. Schedule for the weekend has now been updated to:

- 10:30AM - 1PM Wings & Wheels: A Fly-In & Meet-Up for Women Aviators and Motorcycle Riders. Where Aviation and Motorcycling Meet - Sign ups are currently full but please check in with WOMXN & Wheels at 10:15 in front of lobby to see if anyone cancelled if you want to join.
