Where are you from originally?

I am from Dallas, TX. Also lived in Wisconsin and Pennsylvania growing up.

Where do you live now?

In a neighborhood on the edge of Brooklyn, NY, called Midwood. It’s near Coney Island.

What first got you into art?

For as long as I can remember, I have been drawing, painting, creating. I’d say I started to pursue it more seriously after taking an art history class at university and switching my major from Pyschology to Advertising.

How would you describe your style?

Feminine and positive.
What inspires you? Have any artists in particular been an influence on you?

My favorite artists are ESPO (Steve Powers) & Jenny Holzer. Witty typography goes a long way with me. Also simple and clean lines. Swoon.

What is your favorite medium?

Favorite medium currently is leather paint on leather!

When did you first hear about Babes Ride Out?

On instagram. Maybe a year ago?

What is your connection to the motorcycle community?

I grew up riding all types of recreational vehicles which translated into motorcycles later on. I’ve traveled to different countries and have done a few day tours on rentals, but don’t have my own ride yet!

Do you ride? If so, what do you ride?

Not yet!

If you were a motorcycle what kind would you be?

A sweet and classic Triumph Bonneville.

What will you be contributing to this years raffle?

A hand painted Atwyld Jacket

Tell us about what inspired you to create it?

Inspired by the badass babes of BRO. Can’t wait to see who ends up with it.

Where are you from originally?

Im from central Massachusetts, the Wachusett Mountain area.

Where do you live now?

I currently reside on the beautiful island of Marthas Vineyard

What first got you into art?

Its all Ive ever known. No joke. You know when you’re a kid in preschool and most of your activities are drawing and finger painting? I just never stopped.

How would you describe your style?

My style is going through a transition right now, but has always had an illustrative

whimsical narrative feel. I have stayed flexible as an illustrator, and when graduating

college with a double major in film video and illustration, I thought having the ability to morph to whatever my client needed would be my strength. Now that I am older I see how Important it is to have your own voice shine through.

What inspires you? Have any artists in particular been an influence on you?

Sounds cheesy, but nature inspire me. I love being outside. I need the outdoors to clear my head and allow creativity to flow in the first place.  I have a long list of

influencing artists in many different mediums as I also work with many different art forms. My favorite painters are Gustav Klimt, N.C and Andrew Wyeth, T.C Cannon,

Frederic Remington and Donna Howell Sickles.

What is your favorite medium?

Hard one! As a filmmaker and photographer I love light. As a painter I’m working with acrylic.

When did you first hear about Babes Ride Out?

I came across a picture of Betsy Huelskamp taken by Lindsay Lohden on instagram. I fell in love with her and creeped on all her pictures and came across babes ride out.

What is your connection to the motorcycle community?

Other than creeping on the community from my phone I have none! Babes Ride Out will be my first!

Do you ride? If so, what do you ride?

Yes! Still a noob.  A Honda Rebel 250

If you were a motorcycle what kind would you be?

An Indian Scout

What will you be contributing to this years raffle?

A beautiful helmet with some of my paintings on it! The painting is of some three eyed ravens interwoven with some poppy flowers.

Tell us about what inspired you to create it?

I have always loved painting birds. While I was living on the road I spent a lot of time in the desert of Utah, right outside Arches Nat Park. There were so many ravens and I really grew attached to them while living in the canyon volunteering for the state park. Ive been thinking about doing some cool three eyed raven paintings so some time. Of course, Game of Thrones has reawakened that inspiration too!

Where are you from originally?

I was born in Germany. My father is german and my mother is spanish

Where do you live now?

Now I live in Chile, South America where my parents grew up.

What first got you into art?

My mom was a great artist, and my sisters also painted a lot when they were little. There were a lot of drawing books at home and my mom helped me.

How would you describe your style?

My style is very perfectionist and realistic. I love color harmony, nothing to bright. Designs that blend perfectly with the environment. I think I got that from my mom too: stand out, but not too much. Always subtle.

What inspires you? Have any artists in particular been an influence on you?

When I was a teen I was very into Dali. I loved his fantasy designs, but with realistic drawing at the same time. I copied a lot of his work with pencil. But in general, I feel very inspired by nature. Nature is always balanced, harmonic and elegant.

What is your favorite medium?

My favorite medium is the good old simple pencil: 2B. Simple black and white drawing. I have never been a fan of colors before I started painting on leather jackets. That was my biggest challenge. Actually, I wanted to do only white illustrations on black faux leather but I'm thankful that my customers made me use colors cause now I’m not afraid anymore. Color technique is not something easy when you have never taken a course of any kind.

I have to say I don't like Oils, cause I when I was 15 I got intoxicated by the smell. LOL

When did you first hear about Babes Ride Out?

That was when I visited Los Angeles in February 2019 to meet a photographer who was into motorcycles. She saw my jackets and said I totally had to make something for this amazing show.

babes ride out

What is your connection to the motorcycle community?

Jackets. The cool, amazing jackets with fun designs, that moto cyclers use.

If you were a motorcycle what kind would you be?

I would be a Cafe Racer, because I feel that my jackets would fit in perfectly in the concept.

What will you be contributing to this years raffle?

I will contribute a custom hand painted jacket.

Tell us about what inspired you to create it?

I have been watching a lot of images and documentaries about motorcycles lately and I have so many ideas for the concept of women empowerment on a motorcycle. And in addition, your “camping” concept is even more inspiring. It's like “motorcycling under the stars”. Absolute and pure freedom.

Check out my website. I mostly have done brides but am starting a whole new Motorcycle collection!!! https://www.fabricstattoo.com/
