It was a gorgeous day in Southern California on Saturday so we headed out to Palm Springs for the Paradise Roadshow . The Ace Hotel was a killer backdrop of this event which brought together vintage cars and bikes from all over. Right when you walked into the event area I was greeted by a row of vintage Triumphs that belonged to none other than our buds at BA Moto. These boys have spent years tuning up bikes for the ladies headed out to our events and it was rad to see their most prized possessions on display.
The sounds of 60's and 70's pop music filled the area and I wasn't surprised to see our girl Margeaux Hamrock spinning records. I saw her awesome GEAUX van in the parking lot so I knew I would find her there. This epic babe has been dj'ing our events since day 1 and she is up to all kinds of awesome endeavours these days in addition to her record spinning habit. Margeaux recently opened her own salon in Long Beach called Haus Hair Society.
Walking into the main event space there were a ton of vintage clothing dealers, chain stitchers and sellers of all kinds of things. I was so excited to see Jill from Hometown Jersey there. She is a Joshua Tree local and has lived and run her business in town for years. She had all her jerseys on display with hand stitched lettering. Jill has contributed to many of our raffles and we were so excited to have been able to collaborate with her on our very own Babes Ride Out Jersey this past season. We only have a a size large left so if you want it, click our shop tab.
One of the best things about going to local motorcycle events is running into all of the babes we have meet through the Babes Ride Out community. You ladies are awesome and we couldn't do it without you!
On my way out I ran in to Lindsay Ross from La Chambre Photography. She was shooting Ambrotype photos at BRO4 this year. Lindsay travels around and shoots tintype photos and is super talented. It was great to see her working her magic at another local event.
The show flowed nicely and the event space was beautiful. Lanakila McNaughton of Women's Moto Exhibit, Adri Law, and Chase Stopnik put together one kick ass weekend for moto anc car enthisiasts alike. Cheers to all of your hard work!
