Meet Heidi Zumbrun! Heidi has been shooting photos her entire life. The images she captured at Babes Ride Out 3 are so beautiful and we cannot wait to share them with you at our Zine release party Feb 20th at Howl in Long Beach, CA. She is one of those people that make us so thankful to be a part of such a rad community!
Born in Northern California, Heidi is a life-long ﬁne art and commercial photographer who currently resides in the City of Angels. With roots seated deeply in the surf and motorcycle worlds, her vision provides a unique and daring ﬁrsthand photographic diary of Los Angeles’ beach and street cultures. Zumbrun’s editorial perspective is fueled by a love of fashion, good waves, two wheels and the lifestyle that goes along with it…her lifestyle. Heidi received a BFA from UC Santa Barbara and an MFA from the San Francisco Art Institute She has had numerous solo exhibits and has been included in many group exhibitions both nationally and internationally. Her photographs are included in the permanent collection of the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, Berkeley Museum, Denver Museum, and the Ulrich Museum and she is a recipient of the Phelan Award, Alexander Gerbode Foundation Award, and the Artadia Fund for Art & Dialogue.
