I was born and raised in Huntington Beach CA. I love traveling and being outdoors. If I’m not making jewelry, I am probably in the kitchen cooking or at the beach with my dog (Wrangler). I definitely think living where I do fuels my work drive. There are so many talented people around me, creating and turning dreams into reality. It is inspiring to see hard work turn into success, it pushes me to follow my dreams and stay passionate about my work.

My business came to life when I started teaching myself how to create jewelry. My grandfather was full Native American from the Potawatomi tribe and had an extensive jewelry collection. The thought of creating pieces similar to what he owned seemed impossible. With a passion to learn, a lot of practice, and endless hours in my garage I started creating jewelry. My company today Broken Arrow Jewelry, features a collection of pieces that is Native American inspired.

A day in the life is consistently thinking about my company and wanting to be in the studio creating new pieces. I usually plan my week out every Sunday or Monday morning: writing goals for the week and doing my best to follow through with all my tasks. When I am in the studio working on orders, I am usually listening to music or watching TV (well not really watching more like listening). It’s my favorite when I have a whole free day in the studio. However, most of the time the busyness of life breaks up my time with errands, shipping
out orders, or taking pictures of my new pieces for Instagram.

I am currently working on a new collection that will be done this fall. I am super excited about it and can’t wait to share!! Stay tuned! My main thing I cherish about my profession is that I truly love and enjoy every bit of it. I put my whole heart into every piece I make and the satisfaction and joy from my customers is when they receive there order is the cherry on top!

My donation piece is a beautiful handmade cuff, made with a beautiful Kingman turquoise cabochon and sterling silver. It the perfect statement cuff and will last a lifetime.
