With over 150 years of rich history behind them, Stetson is an iconic American brand that is ever evolving and forever timeless. From true western cowboys, to Hollywood elite to U.S. presidents, these hats have brimmed the heads of many throughout history. We are proud to be supported by Stetson and show you a glimpse of the women in our community that have  a true personal connection to this brand. - Babes Ride Out

Meet Jenny Czinder!

Jenny has been coming to Babes Ride Out events since before we even knew it was an event. Yep, she camped in the dirt with us a few miles down that dirt road in Borrego Springs back in October 2013. Jenny has a personal style that is as diverse as the the roads she has ridden. We recently caught up with Jenny to ask her why Stetson is a crucial part to her style.

What kind of bike do you ride? 2012 Harley Davidson Nightster

Tell us about how you got into riding motorcycles:

I got my endorsement 5 years ago, after spending some time on the back of my boyfriend’s bike and before I knew any other women that rode. It just seemed way more thrilling to be in control of the bike and I wanted to experience that.

How has Babes Ride Out and the community impacted your life?

I attended the very first Babes in Borrego and it was the first time I’d ever been amongst that many women who rode motorcycles. I think there were like 50 of us at that first campout? I made some new friends that have since turned into family. It was magic. And every year since the same thing happens - new friends turning into best friends.

In addition to connecting with other like minded women, the community of women motorcyclists inspired me & my biz partner Kelly to start Strange Vacation.

It gives me chills thinking about the past few years since that first campout in Borrego. Who would have thought this is where we’d all be now - surrounded by an ever-growing number of positive, empowered women!!

Can you share a favorite memory you have from a Babes Ride Out event?

Gah, there are so many it’s hard to pick just one. One that sticks out in my mind, is from Babes in Borrego, when I met Corinne Lan Franco. It’s an important memory because she’s now someone super special to me. Corinne came up to me at Babes in Borrego and asked to photograph the back of my sweatshirt because the graphic was ever so perfectly covered in dirt. I explained to her that earlier, when it was tied around my waste, it had come undone while I was peeing and fell into my stream. Since it was wet everything was sticking to it - mud, tumble weeds, campfire smoke. I didn’t give a fuck so I just kept wearing it. Gross huh? Anyway, we’ve been close ever since.

What is your dream motorcycle trip?

I’d love to go on a ride with the Wu Tang Clan.

Describe your personal style:

My style is all over the place. I just wear what feels comfortable in the moment. Sometimes that might mean I’m half naked or rockin an overside sweatshirt and sweats, other times I might be entirely leather clad with lots of jewelry and my Stetson.

How did you first hear about Stetson?

I can’t remember a time when I didn’t know about Stetson ;)

What drew you to the The Signature Hat?

If figure, if I’m gonna rock a Stetson I might as well go big or go home. Which is why I love ‘the Signature’ Stetson hat. It was designed in collaboration with Tasya Van Ree, a talented photographer, artist and style icon. The hat is taller than most and has a super wide brim. I typically trend towards black but something drew me to white, I think because it makes it even more of a statement piece.

How does wearing a hat make you feel?

When I wear my Stetson I feel stylish and sophisticated.
