Allie Nickel of Ravenwood Collective

My name is Allie Oxenblood, and I hail from the hardened and rugged mountainous terrain of Pittsburgh, PA wwww.oxenbloodart.com, IG: @Oxenblood

Where are you currently working and how long have you been tattooing?

I work at and own my shop, Ravenwood Collective, which I opened last year. I have been tattooing for about 6 years.

How would you describe your style?

My style is illustrative, fantasy, organic, and watercolor based work.

What is your favorite thing to tattoo?

I love to tattoo dark/macabre, organic elements, and norse, pagan and nature based work.

How did you get involved with BRO/the motorcycle community?

I started riding a few years ago, and threw myself headlong into it after joining the Maulies riding group last year.

Will you be riding to/at the event? If so, what will you be riding?

I hope to be riding my Honda Rebel if I can get my clutch fixed in time!

Have you attended Babes Ride Out in the past?

This will be my first time attending. STOKED!!!!

What do you look forward to for this years event?

I'm looking forward to ALL of it! I was pretty pregnant for last year's event, so I am pumped to NOT be pregnant, and have my first weekend out since I've had my son, full of badass women, bikes, and tattoos! I've been looking forward to this LITERALLY ALL YEAR!!!!

Beth Potter, Lucky Soul Tattoo

Where are you currently working and how long have you been tattooing?

I'm currently at Lucky Soul Tattoo in Woodbridge Ct. I've been tattooing paying customers for 11 years after a 2year apprenticeship.

How would you describe your style?

I believe it's very important to be a well rounded tattooer so I've tried not to focus to heavily on one style. I've tried to work on my skills in many areas so I can make sure I'm reaching my customers to the best of my ability and providing them with tattoos they love.

What is your favorite thing to tattoo?

I first fell in love with tattooing because of traditional tattoos and their strong folk art roots. I love doing traditional style tattoos but I also love detailed pieces and "black work" tattoos that focus on crisp lines.

How did you get involved with BRO/the motorcycle community?

I heard about the event through one of the lovely ladies that I work with.

My family and friends have had motorcycles my entire life. This will be my first year at Babes Ride Out and I'm very excited to attend!

What do you look forward to for this years event?

I'm really looking forward to meeting some awesome folks from around New England and spending the weekend in such a pretty location!
